V. Switzer was not removed from course.  The race director tried to remove her and was clocked by her running partner/boyfriend/huge football player bodyguard. Embarrassed to say I think I barked at her when she inadvertenly got in line in front of me before finish line cards were handed out. Then I apologized a bunch of times.
